We are recruiting for the following roles:

Aquinna Homes plc are an established Residential Developer based in Beaconsfield operating across bespoke developments throughout the Southern Home Counties. We have extensive experience of the housing market with a proven track record across the private, RSL and PRS sectors.

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our active commercial department reporting to the Commercial Director. Based in our Beaconsfield Office the role involves managing the busy commercial department working on the varied bespoke residential developments in our operational area covering the Southern Home Counties. The role will also include the commercial duties on specific developments as required from tender through to Final Account.

 

With a proven track record in residential development your responsibilities will include the Management of Surveyors and Senior Surveyors dealing with:

  • Subcontract Tendering/Procurement including tender analysis for approval
  • Pre-Order Meetings and Placing Subcontract Order Packages
  • Material Procurement from Enquiry to Bulk Order
  • Interim Subcontract Payments throughout project through to settlement of Final Account
  • Monthly Cost Reporting against Project Specific Budgets including analysis of variances and projection of Cost to Complete
  • Working with Production and Technical Teams to ensure value for money solutions for the full build process

 

In addition, you will be required to:

  • Review the monthly cost reports and Cost To Completes with relevant Surveyor
  • Prepare the monthly Commercial Report for inclusion in Board Report
  • Report on relevant KPI’s to monitor business performance

 

The successful candidate will illustrate:

  • Relevant experience on UK new build residential development projects
  • Proven negotiation/communication skills
  • The ability to work closely with the other disciplines in the organisation (Technical/Production/Sales) to deliver value-driven high-quality developments within defined timescales
  • The ability to manage workloads and other Team members within defined deadlines
  • A structured approach to cost control and reporting
  • Proficient IT skills, in particular, the use of MS Office and Excel
